The waterfall is 50 meters high, but nearly 100 meters long, and partitions Serepok River into two. It can be considered as the most beautiful and magnificent waterfall in the Central Highlands. In E De language, Dray Sap Waterfall means Smoke Waterfall. As explained by the local people, the name of the waterfall is associated with the legend that Miss H'mi, a beautiful girl, was swallowed up by a monster and turned into colossal column of smoke when she was talking with her boyfriend by the waterfall; and then her boyfriend sat and cried by the waterfall all day and night and turned into a big stump, rising its hands to the sky and striking its roots in the rocky cliff.

Dray Sap Waterfall flows down impetuously day and night by imposing cliffs – the bases for hundreds of species of lianas like huge pythons perching on the halfway of the mountain. The waterfall is surrounded by the specially-used forest with high biological value.

Dray Sap waterfall was rated as a national landscape by Ministry of Culture and Information (currently Ministry of  Culture, Sports and Tourism) in 1991.
