By all means, disbursement of investment capital is not delayed.

On July 2, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province held a three-level face-to-face and online conference to assess the economic, social, defense and security situation in the first six months of the year, and directions for the last six months of 2022. Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Disbursement of public investment capital is an important topic to be discussed at the conference. By June 30th, the province had disbursed 731 billion VND, reaching 26.3%. Many difficulties and problems related to capital disbursement were raised by the units at the conference.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, Director of the Management Board of construction investment projects in Dak Nong province said that 7 of 36 projects that the unit deploys are facing site clearance work. A few capital sources are having problems with capital, mechanisms and policies.

"Currently, many key construction sites, localities have committed to hand over to us before June 30th, but have not been completed yet. Request the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant localities to speed up the handover clean ground for the unit to organize the construction".
 

Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, Director of the Investment Projects Management Board of Dak Nong province gave examples of a number of projects that are facing problems in terms of space.

Regarding the ground clearance of key works in the area, Chairman of Gia Nghia City People's Committee Mr Do Tan Suong said that the locality is making efforts and speeding up the progress. Coercive plans according to regulations for cases of non-compliance have been specifically developed and implemented.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mr Le Van Chien emphasized that the Department of Planning and Investment closely reviews projects that are not progressing well and must be adjusted immediately. Time to implement some key projects is not much. At all ways, localities must complete site clearance for the investor to carry out construction.
 

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Mr Ho Van Muoi suggested that departments, branches and localities do not delay the disbursement of investment capital in the near future.

These results are thanks to the efforts and determination of all three levels in the area.

In the last 6 months of the year, in order to develop the economy and society, first of all, the whole province must take good precautions, not be subjective, and do not ignore the Covid-19 epidemic. Regarding disbursement of public investment capital, the province requested the Project Management Board and the Department of Planning and Investment to concentrate and be drastic in this issue. The units must carefully inspect and supervise the works and projects, determined not to delay anymore.

"For projects that are not feasible in 2022, the relevant units propose the Provincial People's Committee to stop and transfer capital immediately, especially for site clearance work," emphasized President Ho Van Muoi.

 

 

For the three national target programs, the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the departments, branches and localities implement immediately down to the grassroots level, in order to strongly support and create a spillover in these programs.

Regarding budget revenue, the Finance sector focuses on accelerating the progress of revenue. The units involved in the industry hold regular meetings to promptly resolve difficulties and problems. Units review and re-evaluate public assets in the 
area to organize auctions and create conditions for investment capital for projects in the area.

 

In the first 6 months, GRDP growth rate reached 6.33%. Total social investment capital reached VND 8,309 billion, up 27% over the same period. State budget revenue is 1,936 billion VND, reaching 65% of the estimate. The rate of laborers created jobs was more than 10,000 times, reaching 57.23%. The rate of communes meeting the standards of new rural areas, wards and towns of civilized urban areas reached 60.56%.
