On 28 June 2019, The Steering Committee for Dak Nong Geopark building led by Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Vice-Chairwoman Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh had a field trip to the heritage sites belonging to the tourist route "the Resonance of the Earth" to check on the preparation for the receiving of UNESCO mission, who would soon arrive in Dak Nong for its official assessment of Dak Nong's dossiers requesting for the recognition of global position for its  Geopark.

Accordingly, the mission visited 14 heritage sites such as the coffee exhibite site, Dak Nong cultural museum - Phap Hoa pagoda - Petrified wood site House for lithophone display. On the arrival at such destinations, the delegation examined, considered and gave advice on the issues like the building and setting up of instruction or information board at the heritage sites belonging to the tourist route of Dak Nong Geopark, place for music instrument display...

The professionals gave advices on the material as well as how to arrange the music instruments

After the checking period, Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh required that agencies and localities continue to work in close collaboration with the provincial authority and the consulting professionals to be well prepared for the necessary conditions, meeting  up the requirement given by UNESCO.

Trying out how to use ancient music instruments

As planned, from 6th to 11th of July, the UNESCO misson will carry out its assesment at the sites within Dak Nong Geopark.
